PES-Architects, 2023

Central Malmi, which is bisected by a major railway line, is built around a series of postmodern Italianate squares that lead down to the Malmitalo cultural centre. The area around the railway station is ripe for rejuvenation.

The proposal features commercial spaces and housing.

I oversaw the evolving massing studies and drew up a suitable material palette to drive forward the concept.
